With a firm foundation in Catholic identity, students are encouraged to grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually within a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
Faith & Academics
At St. Helen’s, faith is at the heart of everything we do. Catholic education is integrated into daily school life through prayer assemblies, religion classes, Mass attendance, and sacramental preparation. As an accredited member of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), our school offers a strong academic curriculum that prepares students for success in high school and beyond. We support the development of the whole child by incorporating technology in the classroom, offering robust arts and athletics programs, and encouraging leadership and service. Our goal is to cultivate both the minds and hearts of our students through a well-rounded and values-based education.
St. Helen’s School History
Founded in 1953 as a mission school serving grades one through five, St. Helen’s School began under the care of the Holy Cross Sisters and was later staffed by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Over the years, the campus expanded to include additional classrooms, a library, science lab, computer lab, kindergarten building, and more. A new parish was established in 1955, and the school continued to grow through the decades with ongoing facility enhancements, including the Spencer-Conway Building in 2001 and a state-of-the-art library in 2007. Today, St. Helen’s reflects a legacy of growth, faith, and community involvement, with a dedicated lay faculty carrying forward the mission of Catholic education.
